I’m Jo Hurley, a Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in reproductive and microbiome health. I work with individuals and couples who want to optimise their fertility, support IVF outcomes, and restore balance within the vaginal, uterine and seminal microbiomes.
I look beyond symptoms to understand what may be driving imbalance, taking a whole body view of health. Together we explore the everyday factors that shape fertility and microbiome health, from nutrition and lifestyle to stress, sleep and environment, creating personalised strategies that are realistic, sustainable and designed to work in real life.
A big part of my work focuses on microbial ecology and its role in reproductive health and pregnancy outcomes. Alongside my clinical practice, I work as a Nutrition and Education Adviser for ScreenMe, specialising in vaginal, uterine and seminal microbiome testing.
Education is also a huge part of what I do. I lead @feedyourfanny , a non-profit initiative that partners with schools and universities across the UK to help young women better understand their bodies and reproductive health.
I trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, graduating with distinction. I hold an Intimate Ecology accreditation and am a member of the Human Microbiome Guild, and I continue to expand my clinical understanding of reproductive and microbiome health.
